Instructions
Lifting Kit
follow the instructions to lift a section of your Tipi up making a great entrance into your Tipi.
STEP 1
Before fitting
Remove the pegs from at least 3 sections of your Tipi. Make sure you are lifting a section that is away from the linking kit. it sometimes helps loosening off the white ropes on the 4 poles.
Wood work
STEP 2
Placing wood work
Take the 2 long spike poles (spike toward the floor) insite of the Tipi and sit them on a pearlin in the middle section that you are lifting so that they are just resting on your pearlin inside of 2 main poles.
STEP 3
Wood work 2
Take the 2 shorter lifting bars and bolt them into the long lifting bars (the hole should be approx in the middle of the long lifting bars. Make sure the metal bracket on the shorter bar is on the outside.
STEP 4
D-ring selection
You are going to place the spike part of the long lifters into D-rings. Pushing both long lifting bars into the main poles find which D-ring the spike is closest to on the ground (you may have to move them if the Tipi skin is too loose or too tight). place the spike through the D-rings.

Lift the short lifting bar that should be bolted into the long lifting arm up from floor to an upright position make sure you lift both lifters together. Also make sure those long lifting arms are sat on the pearlins !

you should now have the Tipi skin off the ground
STEP 5
fastening down
One person on a ladder behind the long lifting arm ready to push out and one person on a ladder next to where the bar meets the pearlin . (one more person on the ground keeping the short lifter from falling just go with the movement)

Push the long lifting arm as far as you can making the Tipi skin Taught push as far out as possible !

once you have it in place another person place a ratchet around the main pole, pearlin and lifting arm ratchet tight so the pole wont slip

lifting the short bar off the ground so that the long lifting arm is nearly 90 degrees ratchet this short pole onto the main Tipi Pole

Repeat on the other arm
STEP 5
Straps
Lastly make sure you have external straps keeping the Tipi taught and secure.
